Watch Pennywise clown terrify Halloween punters in queue for Glasgow nightclub

Halloween party animals have been well and truly spooked after a Pennywise clown joined the queue to one of Glasgow's most popular night clubs.

Clubbers waiting to get into The Shed in the southside of the city couldn't believe it when the terrifying IT movie character appeared.

Creepy footage of the clown taunting punters in Shawlands as he made his way up and down the queue was shared on social media.

The spooky clip sees Pennywise shout down the line, 'Maybe I'll have a bite of you later' and 'I like you! We can play all night!'.

Staff at The Shed shared the video on their own Facebook page.

In less than 24 hours, followers have shared and reacted to the clip in their droves.

Sarah Jane Redfern wrote: "It's actually lucky I wasn’t there.

"I would have taken a real life stroke."

Colleen Bonnar added: "Glad we missed Halloween this year.

"I’d either be jumping in a taxi home or in the jail for assault."

Mairead McEnroe posted: "Now this is a costume an a half."

This isn't the first time Scots have been spooked by the evil clown.

Last year we told how one reveller in Clydebank went to incredible lengths to turn into Pennywise.

The unknown individual emerged from a family home to terrify children and adults alike.

In the clip, Pennywise creeps towards the spectators, some of them children, on the pavement outside.

In a very convincing clown voice he proceeds to ask for all of their names.

While sitting on the wall at the front of the house, the clown takes an interest in one of the spectators in the street and says: "You! What's your name?"
