Watch Paul Gascoigne make Rangers return as club honour hero at Hummel Training Centre

There's very few footballers who make an impact on a football club the way Paul Gascoigne did Rangers.

The Englishman joined from Lazio at the height of Rangers' powers during the nine in a row era and dominated Scottish football during his three years in Glasgow.

He was left in tears when he left the club and many felt he had been sold too soon ahead of the failed attempt to win 10 in a row.

But he was back in Glasgow and attended Rangers training at the Hummel Training Centre were players and staff were left in awe.

Steven Gerrard paid tribute to Gazza by describing him as his hero on social media and it was clear to see that he meant it when they came together.

When he gathers the players together for a picture with Gascoigne, he can be heard telling them that nobody in the picture - including himself - was in the same league as the Ibrox legend.

Players such as Greg Docherty, Jamie Murphy and Scott Arfield all grew up watching Gascoigne and were quick to get pictures with the England legend - as was skipper James Tavernier among many more.

There was also a reunion with kitman Jimmy Bell who was thrilled to see his old pal looking well. Rangers also paid tribute to their former No. 8 by renaming one of the youth team's changing rooms after him and plastering a huge quote from Jose Mourinho which describes Gascoigne as the real 'special one' on the walls.
