Watch Patriots rookie TE Devin Asiasi score his first career touchdown

Better late than never, right?

That’s the case for New England Patriots rookie Devin Asiasi, who entered the team’s Week 17 matchup against the New York Jets without a catch. Asiasi and Dalton Keene were both drafted in the third round this year and had very little contribution to the team.

Asiasi recorded his first NFL catch in the first half of the matchup and he gave New England the edge with his first career touchdown. Cam Newton found him treading toward the right pile line and threw a perfect pass that only the tight end could grab.
