Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes has posted a video message on Twitter to the Chiefs Kingdom. This video comes following the announcement that Mahomes has officially signed a 10-year contract extension to remain with the team. It includes a caption that says, “Here to stay.” It showcases some old highlights dating back to his earliest days with the team and some from his most recent triumphs. It also announces to the league that Mahomes plans on turning the Chiefs into the next dynasty.

“Chiefs Kingdom, you’ve been with me since the beginning, from rookie year to becoming a starter to the unconventional to doing whatever it takes to win to showdowns. You helped me come back from injury. You helped me come back from deficits — multiple deficits. You helped me overcome adversity. To become Super Bowl champs and we’re staying together… for a long time. We’re chasing a dynasty.”
Those are some pretty powerful words from Mahomes. It’s hard not to get excited about what he and the Chiefs are building together for the next decade beyond.
