Former NFL punter Pat McAfee spent eight seasons as the punter for the Indianapolis Colts. For all of those seasons, his kicker was Adam Vinatieri. No one is a bigger fan. So it was heartbreaking to watch McAfee watch Vinatieri miss what would have been the game-winning field goal against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
If you watch close you can see McAfee’s soul leave his body a little as he moans after Colts holder Rigoberto Sanchez spins the laces in toward the kicker and forces the massive shank. Has he learned nothing from Ace Ventura?
