WATCH Paschal Donohoe accosted on Dublin street by anti-vaxxers and called 'f*****g murdering c**t'

Paschal Donohoe was branded a "f*****g murdering c**t" after he was accosted by a group of anti-vaxxers on a busy Dublin street.

The Finance Minister was confronted by the angry group on Merrion Street in a video that emerged yesterday on social media.

As the clip starts, a woman can be heard asking Minister Donohoe if he will "stand up for the children of this world".

A man can then be heard shouting: "My sister is in hospital after her second jab of the vaccine."

He then adds: "You're a disgrace. You're an absolute disgrace."

Mr Donohoe can then be heard replaying to the disgruntled group, saying, "If the most you can do is shout at me" before adding: "There's no need to raise your voice."

The Dublin Central TD then crosses the road but is followed by the baying mob, with one man shouting "f*****g murdering c**t" at him while another roars "mass genocide".

As he walks down the street, one of the women can be heard shouting: "God is watching. He sees all, good and evil."

A man can then be heard warning: "We'll see what will happen."

The group continue to shout and roar at Minister Donohoe until he enters Government Buildings.

The video emerged shortly before it was revealed that Ireland will surpass two major vaccine milestones today.

Professor Brian MaCraith, the chair of the Covid-19 Vaccination Taskforce, confirmed this morning that Ireland will have six million doses of the jab administered by the end of Thursday and 75% of adults will be fully protected from the virus.

He said: "A great national effort involved in achieving these. Meitheal na mílte."

In spite of the good news, Taoiseach Micheal Martin said there will be no "Freedom Day" similar to the UK and everyone will still have to keep wearing masks for the winter.

And he also issued a warning that the nation must brace itself for a potentially lethal combination of flu and Covid this winter.
