Paolo Nutini stole the show when he dropped into a Glasgow bar last night and wowed punters with an impromptu performance.
The Paisley crooner, 32, was out with pals on a stag-do at St Vincent’s in the city centre but couldn't help but take to the stage to belt out a few classics.
Former X-Factor star Gregor Coleman was playing on the night and was thrilled to share the stage with the Last Request star.
Gregor, who made it to the six chair challenge in 2017's X Factor, told Glasgow Live: "Saint Vincent’s bar had a booking of around 25 people for what I thought was a birthday so asked if I would come in and perform a few hours during the day.
"As I arrived I saw Paolo outside smoking and turns out the booking his mates stag-do.
"Paolo eventually came up and introduced himself and asked if we could do a song together.
"I was buzzing cause I’ve always wanted to duet with him!"
The pair sang Gnarls Barkley before Paolo retreated back to the bar to enjoy a pint.
But the singer returned minutes later to perform his own hits after a cheering crowd coaxed him back on stage.
"He got back up due to demand from the crowd and asked if I’d sing some of his songs with him," said Gregor. "We sang Pencil Full of Lead and Candy.
"He finished with a version on You’ll Never Walk Alone which had the place going mad! The guy's a legend.
"Sharing the stage with a guy that would easily sell out the Hydro was mental."
Paolo Nutini shot to fame in 2006 when his album These Streets - including singles Jenny Don't Be Hasty and New Shoes - peaked at number 3 in the UK charts.
Fans have been patiently the release of a follow up to Paolo's last album Caustic Love, released in 2014.
Martin Scott, manager at St Vincent’s said: "We we’re thrilled to welcome Paolo Nutini at St Vincent’s in Glasgow.
"Paolo was in for a stag with his friends and decided to do a few songs for the crowd. He played for about 45 minutes."
"Paolo played all the favourites and the customers couldn’t believe it! We have such a great crowd here and it’s just amazing such huge stars have given us an ad hoc performance."
