If you follow Panthers safety Eric Reid on Twitter, you know he has been vocally critical of the league’s new partnership with hip hop artist/entrepreneur Jay-Z. Reid says Jay-Z is cashing in on the NFL black-balling Colin Kaepernick while also claiming to support his cause.
After tonight’s preseason loss to the Bills, Reid was asked about the reports that Jay-Z will soon have a “significant ownership interest” in a NFL team, per TMZ. He called the idea of Jay-Z buying into a team “kind of despicable.” Watch.
