While it was a relatively low bar, Reid was Carolina’s best defensive back last season. Reid posted 71 combined tackles, which was the most since his rookie year when he was a Pro Bowler with the 49ers. He also added a much-needed ferocity that had been missing from the unit for a while.
Reid signed a three-year contract extension this offseason at a fair price.
