Cam Newton turns 30 years old today. At Friday’s annual celebrity kickball tournament, a group of Roaring Riot fans surprised Newton by wishing him a happy birthday. Watch.
30 is a major milestone in any athlete’s career. While there are some concerns about his throwing shoulder, Newton’s game does not appear to be on the decline as of yet.

Assuming Cam does not suffer a major injury or another setback with his shoulder, he should be signing another contract extension next year that may keep him in Carolina for the rest of his career.
