Watch: Panthers coach Ron Rivera talks game management, defensive scheme

The Panthers made a series of coaching changes over the past week. Yesterday, the team announced that long-time defensive line assistant Sam Mills III will take on the much-hyped game management position, assisting head coach Ron Rivera with miscellaneous parts of the game that will let Rivera focus as defensive coordinator.

Carolina also hired two former players as assistant coaches: Ben Jacobs is now a special teams assistant and Everette Brown is an assistant linebackers coach. On Wednesday, Rivera spoke with team reporter Bill Voth about the changes as well as the talk about potentially switching to a 3-4 defense. Watch.
