Nice try, Nick Boyle.
Green Bay Packers safety Adrian Amos denied the tight end’s hurdle attempt after a short catch in the first quarter of Thursday night’s preseason game in Baltimore.
Boyle must have assumed Amos would go low on his tackle attempt. Instead, Amos stood tall and was in a perfect position to calmly escort Boyle to the ground.
It is not advisable for a man with a 30.5″ vertical leap to attempt jumping over an upright man who stands 6-0.
The Packers signed Amos to a four-year, $37 million deal in free agency.
