The Packers have an extra day to get ready for their next game, thanks to Monday Night Football. Unfortunately for Green Bay (4-1), that doesn’t necessarily mean that leading wide receiver Davante Adams will be back on the field for the Week 6 contest versus the Lions (2-1-1).
Adams hasn’t played since Sept. 26, missing the Week 5 win versus the Cowboys (3-2) because of turf toe. His status for Monday’s game is uncertain.
“It is a major injury, so it’s something that we gotta pay attention to and make sure we monitor in the correct way to make sure it’s not something that gets re-aggravated later on in the season, or I come back too early and really mess the thing up,” Adams told reporters on Thursday.
