Watch out, Shark – This Duux handheld fan offers 100 speeds, misting relief and 17 hours of runtime

Duux fans.

QUICK SUMMARY

Duux has launched two new handheld fans ahead of the next UK heatwave.

The Duux Misty White has a refillable water reservoir that expels a cooling mist spray, while the Duux Icy Grey uses ice compression technology to cool you down.

Watch out, Shark! Duux has entered the handheld fan market with not one but two new fan designs. Featuring the Misty White and Icy Grey, Duux’s new fans are designed to cool and refresh you using ice compression technology and light misting sprays.

2026 has been the year of the handheld fan. Of course, handheld, portable fans have been around for years, but now, they’ve become more advanced and high-tech than ever before.

First, we had the Shark ChillPill, a 3-in-1 fan with fan, misting and cooling plates, before Dyson followed suit with its HushJet Mini Cool. The most recent brand to join the party was Blueair, with its AlwaysCool fan which promises up to 32 hours of battery life.

Now, Duux is joining the party with two handheld fan options. Starting with the Misty White, this handheld fan has a mist spray function so you can combine cool air with a fine mist for instant relief. Within the Duux Misty White fan is a refillable water reservoir and as the fan is compact and small enough to travel with, you can fill it up while on-the-go.

Measuring 6.2cm x 4.5cm x 15.7cm and weighing just 175g, the Duux Misty White is lightweight and easy to carry. It has a digital LED display at the front that shows you its speed and battery life. As a cordless fan, it takes up to 3.5 hours to charge and offers up to 17 hours of runtime.

The Duux Misty White has plenty of speed levels from 0-100 so you can enjoy a light breeze or an intense cooling flow. Powered by a 15,000 rpm motor, it’s an extremely powerful fan considering its size, and it emits 50 dB of noise so it’s surprisingly quiet, too.

Last but not least, the Duux Icy Grey is another handheld fan but it’s slightly more simple than the Misty White. It uses ice compression technology to offer fast cooling, and it has an integrated cooling plate to chill the air around you. It has five speed settings, and it’s adjustable by 180°.

Unlike the Misty White, the Duux Icy Grey doesn’t have a screen-like display but it does come with LED speed indicators. It’s also small and lightweight measuring 6.2cm x 5.5cm x 17cm and weighing 212g, and it offers up to 10 hours of use from a full 3.5 hour charge.

Both the Duux Misty White and Duux Icy Grey are available to buy for £39.99.
