WATCH: Orioles on pace to allow more homers than any other team in MLB history

The Baltimore Orioles are set to rewrite the record books this season — but not the way O’s fans would like them to.

The Orioles are on pace to allow 347 home runs this year, which would shatter the current record of 258 set by the Cincinnati Reds in 2016. If the Orioles maintain that pace, they will finish with 89 more home runs allowed than any other team in Major League Baseball history.

Baltimore is also trailing the New York Yankees, who sit atop the AL East, by a solid 16.5 games. Before Memorial Day. Yikes.
