It’s been a bit of a disappointing year for the Ohio State wrestling team. It finished third in the Big Ten regular season behind Penn State and Michigan, then finished a distant second to the Nittany Lions at the Big Ten Championships.
But now comes another day and another opportunity at the NCAA Championships this weekend. The Buckeyes are the only program that have all ten weight classes qualified, meaning there’s more of a chance at notching enough points to give Penn State a run for its money again.
Nothing would be sweeter than to win a team national title after failing to take the grand prize in the Big Ten.
