WATCH: Ohio State RB JK Dobbins on playing for Jim Harbaugh’s brother in Baltimore

Some of the funny things about the NFL draft is that teams are forced to go across enemy lines in a lot of cases to pick the player that best fits their needs. In the case of the Baltimore Ravens, head coach John Harbaugh picked a couple of Ohio State players, ones that played for his brother Jim’s arch-rival at Michigan.

That was not lost on OSU running back J.K. Dobbins either. Selected by the Ravens in the second round, he was asked if it’ll be strange having the Harbaugh brothers on his side this go ’round.

“I don’t know if it’ll be strange,” said Dobbins on the Ravens Twitter profile. “I might give them some um — flack about it, because you know we beat his (John Harbaugh) brother (Jim) every time I played them.”

Dobbins though, then said he’s looking forward to playing for a great coach in John.

“It’ll be great,” Dobbins said. “I feel like it’s a great coach I’m going to. I know he’s a great coach, so I’m glad I get to play for him.”

Honestly, the Ravens might have gotten the steal of the draft. Four running backs were taken ahead of Ohio State’s single-season rushing champion as he fell all the way to the back half of the second round. Nobody will be able to take the Buckeye out of Dobbins, but it looks like there might now be room for a little Harbaugh to be put in.
