Ohio State had its last tune up before the season gets started in a big way against Cincinnati at home next Wednesday, and we finally got to get a look at the four freshman that should give the program an infusion of talent.
And they didn’t disappoint, especially freshman guard D.J. Carton who scored 15 points and had a couple impressive dunks to give everyone a glimpse of what he’ll be in a Buckeye uniform. But all four contributed to the cause to help lead Ohio State to a somewhat expected easy victory 95-52.
We haven’t really heard from the freshman much as they get nursed into the program, but we finally got an opportunity to get some sound bites when the four of them were made available after the Cedarville exhibition.

It sure sounds like a close-knit group. If they can acclimate with the rest of the veteran players and continue to develop, this team could be on its way to surprising folks again in 2019-2020.
