Watch Ohio State incoming freshman E.J. Liddell light it up in a game of one-on-one

One of the best recruiting classes Ohio State basketball has had in years is about to hit a television screen (or streaming device) near you this winter. One of those guys’ names is E.J. Liddell and he is good at putting the basketball into the hoop. Trust me on this. He’s also a little underrated in my opinion despite being a top 50 recruit in ESPN’s Top 100.

But don’t take my word for it. There’s some pretty good highlights out there of him doing damage in the Illinois State Championship game and other places that you can find. Oh, he’s also the state’s Mr. Basketball — a state that routinely churns out some top-end hoops talent. After all Chicagoland has more than its fair share of talent.

We ran across another highlight video that will give you an idea of the versatile skill set Liddell possesses. He’s got enough girth and length to do some damage down low at 6-6, 220 lbs., but he can also light it up from deep. Watch the below video courtesy of ballislife.com’s official Twitter feed as he smokes some poor chap over and over again by pulling up and draining shot after shot.

This is one of the many reasons why ESPN and others have Ohio State projected to do some damage next year. Raise your hand if you are like us and can’t wait to see what Liddell and his teammates can accomplish next season.
