Ohio State doesn’t have much time to bask in the glory of an upset win over No. 6 seed Iowa State. After all, they don’t call it March Madness for nothing.
The very nature of the NCAA Tournament is that there are quick turnaround games teams must prepare for as they advance at times. So it is for the second round for everyone including Ohio State. The Buckeyes had to get into the film room, get up to speed and install a game plan for a Houston team that can shoot the lights out.
Head coach Chris Holtmann met with the media Saturday and spoke about this, his team’s mindset, the effectiveness of Kaleb Wesson and the challenge of facing a tough Houston squad.
