The Ohio State football team is coming off its second idle week of the year, and somehow it now has a No. 1 ranking hanging around its neck despite not playing a game for almost two weeks. That’s because the initial College Football Playoff rankings came out and the Buckeyes are No. 1.

Now that it’s time to get back to business, Ohio State will welcome Maryland to the ‘Shoe for yet another Noon game. The Terrapins put a scare in the Buckeyes last year, but it’s not expected to be a contest this time around.
You have to play the games though, and we’ve seen funnier things happen.
