Ohio State might have fallen just shy of the ultimate goal of making the College Football Playoff last year, but that doesn’t mean the season didn’t come with some pretty special things.
The Buckeyes beat Michigan (again), won the Big Ten Championship and were Rose Bowl Champions by way of a 28-23 win over the Washington Huskies. When you really reflect on that, the season reaches some pretty special heights for the program.
If last year was about attaining all of those things, then Thursday was when some of the fruits of those labors were handed out. Watch the below video shared by @OhioStateFB that shows members of the football team receiving their gold pants for beating TTUN, and some pretty shiny rings for winning the conference.
There’s even an appearance from Urban Meyer at the end to remind the team how special the rivalry with Michigan is.
Good stuff here. Let’s hope this coming season has many of the same trinkets and awards — and maybe more.
