There’s still a season left to salvage for the Ohio State men’s basketball team here in 2019, but many people are excited about what next year holds.
That’s because the Buckeyes have one heck of a 2019 recruiting class coming in that should pay immediate dividends. Perhaps the most highly-touted of those recruits is Bettendorf, Iowa’s D.J. Carton.
Carton is a five-star point guard that can not only race the basketball up the court, but can shoot the lights out and attack the rim. He’s listed at 6-1, but plays much bigger than that with his ability to jump out of the gym.

It’ll be hard to find a point guard next year with more athletic gifts than Carton. Add him and this ability to what’s already in the cupboard at Ohio State, and next year could be a lot of fun folks.
