Watch Ohio State 2021 QB commit Kyle McCord spin it at Rivals 5-Star Challenge

Four-star 2021 Ohio State quarterback commit Kyle McCord is still a ways off from joining the Buckeye program. Things look to be in pretty good shape anyway with Justin Fields taking the reigns for at least the next couple of years.

But before then, for those of you that don’t know much about the 6-3, 204 pounder, he’s rated as the No. 5 pro-quarterback and 52nd overall prospect in the entire class by 247Sports. He’s more of a typical drop-back quarterback than a dual-threat guy that can get more done with his legs.

He’s out of Philadelphia and has a good chance of climbing the rankings based on what we’ve seen thus far. In fact, McCord was one of just a handful of  prospects from the 2021 class to participate in the Rivals 5-Star Challenge.

And judging by the video and commentary coming out of his performance, he acclimated himself well. You too can get a look at how McCord spins the ball in drills. Just click on the below video shared by Rivals and see how easy the ball comes off his hand, and how accurate he is.

Obviously it’s one thing to throw the ball well in drills with little defensive pressure, but it’s not hard to see the snap and promise he shows slinging the pigskin all over the field.
