Watch Odsonne Edouard take Celtic form into France under-21 duty with sharp finish

Odsonne Edouard has taken his tally to six in three games for France under-21s after scoring two goals against Azerbaijan tonight.

The 21-year-old striker has 9 strikes in 17 games for the Hoops this season and has impressed with his excellent all-round striking play.

Edouard 's goal against Rangers in September's clash at Ibrox showed his class after he was slipped through one on one with Allan McGregor and made no mistake.

Against Azerbaijan he makes a trademark run wide of the nearest central defender before slamming the ball first time past the helpless goalkeeper.

Such finishing is why the striker is held in such positive regard in Scotland with goalscoring legend and pundit Kris Boyd the latest to tout him for a big money move.

He said: "Talk about playing with France, is it a possibility? Yes. Do I think he'll do it with Celtic? No.

"That'll be in the back of his mind, he'll need to make that move if he's going to get in the French squad.

"I don't think it'll be January, but come next summer, if there's something of £25-30million, which is reasonable for me, I think this guy will go to the very top.

"If I was Manchester United , I would come in and give the £25-30million in the summer.

"I wouldn't be surprised if a Brighton or an Aston Villa come in and pay the £30million for Odsonne Edouard and then he goes again."
