Watch Nightmare Before Christmas with original cast members and a full live orchestra

The Nightmare Before Christmas is to be screened in Glasgow... backed by a full live orchestra.

Legendary composer and "reigning Pumpkin King" Danny Elfman will be bringing the Tim Burton classic to life as part of the movie's 25th anniversary celebrations after three sell-out shows at the Hollywood Bowl earlier this year.

He'll be performing his role of Jack Skellington, will be joined by other original cast members Catherine O'Hara as Sally, and Ken Page as the voice of Oogie Boogie with full orchestral accompaniment by The Royal Scottish National Orchestra on Monday December 2.

The Glasgow show is just one of two UK anniversary screenings as Elfman brings the one-of-a-kind spectacular to London this December.

He said: "Being able to perform "Nightmare" live in sync to the movie with a full orchestra was such a thrill at the sold out Hollywood Bowl shows. Having Catherine O'Hara and Ken Page to perform with me really made it a unique and magical experience. I'm happy to bring this special night to the UK for the first time in December."

Also, costumes are highly encouraged – so look out that facepaint! Tickets start from £42 and you can get them HERE.
