With the league year officially beginning at 4:00 pm Wednesday, newly acquired free agent quarterback Nick Foles was able to board a private plane and head to Jacksonville for his introductory press conference with the Jaguars.
Foles arrived at Jacksonville International Airport in style Wednesday evening donning a teal Jaguars hat and a suit, ready to get things rolling in Duval.
The former Super Bowl MVP and beloved Eagles backup agreed to sign with Jacksonville Monday for four years and $88 million. However, with the league year beginning Wednesday afternoon, they had to wait to make it official.
The Jaguars took to Twitter as soon as the new league year kicked off to announce the signing and the video below. They also revealed he’ll be wearing the No. 7 for the organization as opposed to the No. 9, which he wore in Philadelphia.
