Tom Brady and Peyton Manning were together recently, at least long enough to snap a selfie. Brady shared the picture on his Instagram and (relatively new) Twitter, captioning it “Spoiler alert… we were friends this whole time. Always great to see you Peyton!”
Both QBs were in suits, but the difference in the details in attire — Brady’s sleek black and white look versus Manning’s loud orange and blue — as well as in their expressions and general reputations as personalities drew jokes from the internet.
Of course Brady managed to look unflappable staring into the sun, while Manning’s face looked like any normal person’s probably would. Blame it on either the hairlines that correspond with the men being in their 40s or simply genetics, but fans on the internet had fun with Brady and Manning’s foreheads, too.
The real spoiler alert here: no one — not even a pair of the greatest QBs to ever play in the NFL — is safe from internet trolling.
