Watch: New Titans LB Nick Dzubnar introduces himself to fans

The Tennessee Titans made the signing of linebacker and special teams ace Nick Dzubnar official on Thursday.

Shortly after that was done, Dzubnar recorded a video that was posted to social media by the Titans’ official Twitter account, introducing himself to fans.

Check it out.

Dzubnar has spent his entire five-year career with the San Diego/Los Angeles Chargers, playing mostly on special teams. In 2019, he played a career-high 332 special teams snaps and totaled eight combined tackles

The 28-year-old has played 65 snaps on defense during his career, but didn’t play on any last season. The most snaps he’s ever played on defense was 45 in 2016, but he’s taken part in just four snaps combined the past three years.

Dzubnar could very well serve in the role that either Daren Bates or Wesley Woodyard played on special teams, which would mean at least one of them won’t be back. If that’s the case, he’ll have big shoes to fill.
