Watch new Ohio State linebackers coach talk about the culture of his personnel

When Al Washington got air-lifted out of Ann Arbor to come to Columbus as the new linebackers coach for Ryan Day and Ohio State, it created quite a buzz at TTUN. But that’s okay. Washington was raised in Central Ohio and his dad played for the Buckeyes.

Deal with it.

So far though, we haven’t got too much in the way of knowing what type of culture Washington brings to the linebacker room, what he believes, and what former players think of him.

Until now.

The official Ohio State football Twitter account released a video today that give you a little peek behind the curtain with Al Washington. It goes through what he believes his players should be, how he interacts, the energy he brings, and what he means to the kids both on and off the field.

You can get a feel for yourself by clicking on the below Tweet and watching the video in its entirety.

And oh how sweet it will be when Ohio State travels to Ann Arbor to take on his former employer. At least he’s on the right side of the rivalry now.
