Newly-traded for veteran shooting guard Evan Fournier spoke with the press ahead of his debut for the team against the New Orleans Pelicans at TD Garden Monday night, a delayed introduction for the Frenchman after a false positive COVID-19 test temporarily sent Fournier to the NBA’s health and safety protocols.
The new Celtic fielded questions about that false positive, getting up to speed with his new club, what he heard about the city from fellow Frenchman and former Celtic Vincent Poirier, and how he thinks he will be able to help his new team on the court, among other topics.
More than anything, Fournier seemed ready to get to work with Boston.
