Watch Neil Lennon's Celtic press conference in full as Hoops boss snaps back over Rangers questions

Celtic boss Neil Lennon was in no mood to talk about Rangers as he looked ahead to Sunday's Betfred Cup Final.

The Irishman will be looking to win his first League Cup as a manager having won it twice as a player.

He was in charge the last time these sides met at Hampden in a cup final but saw his side beaten 2-1 after an extra time winner from Nikica Jelavic.

Alfredo Morelos is the main striker for Rangers these days but the Colombian is yet to score against Celtic.

He was also left out of the game at Ibrox earlier this season as Celtic won 2-0 and when asked what difference Morelos would make to the team, Lennon snapped back to say: "I've no idea. I'm not concerned about Rangers. You can ask Steven that, it's not my team. I don't see him every day training. Obviously I've seen some games this week doing a bit of analysis.

"Are they a better team with him in it? He scores a lot of goals, he's a good player so I can't comment on whether they are a better team or not.

"What I do know is they have improved, they are improving but what gets overlooked is we're improving as well. The results and performances would back that up.

"It's no disgrace to get a point at Pittodrie and it's always a difficult venue to go to. We're two points clear. Everyone was talking about goal difference for a while and now we're two points clear, but I don't think it is going to have an effect on Sunday.

"You have to take the game in isolation. It's a cup final and we'll have our players, our tactics, our set up and we're hoping that will be enough on the day."

It wasn't the only time he was asked about Rangers and he was equally as frustrated when asked about them a second time.

He was quizzed over what Rangers strengths and weaknesses are but the Celtic gaffer responded: "I'm not going to sit here and talk about Rangers, their strengths and weaknesses and give anything away. I don't like talking about the opposition, they are a quality side and they've proven that over the season so far and that's all I need to say on Rangers really.

"We respect them and I know I have a quality side as well who are playing very well so i can only focus on what my team will do."

Lennon also showed his relaxed side as a journalist entered the room in the middle of his press conference.

And the Hoops boss quickly looked at his watch and joked: "What time do you call this?"
