Watch Neil Lennon's Celtic press conference in full as he admits fans expect another Treble

Neil Lennon admits fans might view his second spell as a failure if he doesn't win the Treble next season.

Celtic have completed an historic treble Treble and supporters have become accustomed to winning everything.

Lennon was confirmed as manager for his second spell in charge earlier on Friday and insists winning every trophy is the target.

But he says it is a hard thing to do and reckons some fans may feel it isn't good enough to just win the league title.

When asked if it would be deemed a success, he said: "Probably not because they've been used to it but it's a very difficult thing to do.

"In my first season here as a player, we won the treble under Martin O'Neill and that was the holy grail but these guys have won three in a row.

"Saturday was one of the best days of my life, when the final whistle went it was one of the best moments of my professional life because of the enormity of what the players achieved and what it meant for everyone associated with the club.

"We will endeavour to win every competition we go into so we'll take it from there."

The 47-year-old also revealed how he has changed in his time away from the club.

He's been back for three months now on an interim basis but says he's a different man.

He said: “You all know what this club means to me but it’s not about me. I’m delighted that the board have entrusted me. The aim is to try and win a fourth treble and be the dominant team in the country.

“I’m older and a bit wiser. I’m 10 years down the line in management and have a great backroom staff. I am different, there’s no question of that. I’m more rounded and looking forward to the challenge ahead.”
