Watch Neil Lennon's Celtic press conference in full as boss hails 'epic' Europa League win and reveals Greg Taylor heart to heart

Neil Lennon has saluted his charges for their excellent 2-1 win over Lazio in the Europa League on Thursday night.

Celtic snatched all three points after a see-saw encounter that saw them come back from a goal down.

Christopher Jullien's 89th minute header sent Parkhead into delirious raptures, a sight that gave Lennon a big boost.

He said; "That was a proper European team, a proper European atmosphere and a proper European game.

"It had a bit of everything really so the players can take an enormous amount of personal satisfaction from it.

"We are alive and kicking, it's so important for the gravitas of the game here, the gravitas of the club and players."

Fans have been wondering about the status of £2m left-back Greg Taylor who has barely been seen his summer arrival.

The summer signing from Killmarnock has yet to make his Celtic bow amidst Boli Bolingioli 's excellent recent form.

And Lennon revealed he has spoken to the 21-year-old and urged him to bide his time.

He said: "It's been difficult for him because Boli has been so consistent and Jonny (Hayes) is there.

"With Jonny he's a squad player who can play a number of positions and Greg is just a bona-fide left-back.

"I had a chat with him earlier in the week and he understands and he's going to be patient and wait his turn but he will get his chance there is no question of that."

Sunday's Premiership tie couldn't be more difficult as the hoops face an arduous trip to Pittodrie to face Aberdeen .

And Lennon was full of praise for his managerial opponent on Sunday.

He said: "Aberdeen had a brilliant win at Motherwell, very impressive and they have a very good manager.

"He has been at the top of the game for a long time so we couldn't have asked for a stiffer test really."
