Watch Neil Lennon's Celtic press conference as he hits back at Rene Meulensteen over Tom Rogic

Neil Lennon has hit back at Rene Meulensteen's claims Tom Rogic will need to leave Celtic for the sake of his international career if he doesn't get more game time.

The former Manchester United assistant is currently in a similar role with Australia and is disappointed by Rogic's lack of game time.

A knee injury on his debut against Dundee put him out for 18 months but Lennon admits he could extend his loan deal from Manchester City.

"He’s played a couple of development games and back training on a regular basis now. We’ve got another development game this day week, if he comes through that alright then maybe he’ll start to feature between now and the end of the season.

When asked if he could make an offer for next season, he said: "Possibly.
