Watch Naughty Boy on Deal or No Deal before I'm a Celeb appearance

Naughty Boy has been revealed as one of this year’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! contestants.

The music producer has only been in the castle for just over a week and has faced the most trials

But this isn’t the first reality TV programme the star has appeared on, as before he took the music world by storm, he appeared on Deal or No Deal.

The 36-year-old, real name Shahid Khan, was invited onto the show in 2007, where he told Noel Edmonds his dreams of making music.

He later went on to win £44,000, which is believed to have been spent on recording equipment and a recording studio which he built in his mum’s garden.

"I've always had a natural ability to make melodies since I was a kid but I never really utilised it,” he said.

Noel replied: "You want to help people with your music?"

To which he said: "It could be a long way away, but I'm allowed to dream.”

After a very tense episode, Shahid took the Banker's offer of a whopping £44,000.

Speaking about how he spent his winnings, Naughty Boy shared: "The money gave me two and a half years of not working. It bought me time. To be honest, money can only give you time unless you want to put it in an investment.

"I wanted to invest in myself to become a musician. I wanted to understand how to make music on a computer.’

Presenter Noel was a big fan of the artist and said Naughty Boy’s game had been "one of the most enjoyable" ones he could remember.

"It has been fascinating and I think you bring a real style and presence to this," Noel added. "I don’t say this to everybody, but I really do mean it. I’m going to miss you."

Since then, Naughty Boy has gone on to work with huge artists like Ed Sheeran, Beyonce and Sam Smith, among many others.
