Watch: Myles Jack with an Oscar-worthy flop

Drawing a penalty can shift the course of a drive. Maybe even a game. As such that has led to “flopping” in all the major sports. Soccer players taking a dive in the vicinity of a slide tackle. Basketball players collapsing to the court on a screen. And yes football players hurling themselves towards the turf after a bump.

Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker Myles Jack took this art to a higher level on Sunday against the Green Bay Packers:

After landing on running back Tyler Ervin, Jack is removed from the running back by one of the Packers offensive linemen. In response, Jack contorts his body backward and starts grabbing for his shoulder, a move that would make Daniel Day Lewis jealous.

We’ll wait to see if the Academy nominates Jack for a golden statue.
