In case you didn’t know, Michigan State is eliminating the Men’s and Women’s Swim and Dive teams from the university as a cost-saving measure. Since this was announced, the alumni, current swimmers, and their supporters have banded together to try and pressure the university to reconsider their decision.
On Saturday, supporters met outside of IM West on campus to hold a rally in support of saving the program.
