WATCH: MSU Basketball commit, 5-star Emoni Bates throws down dunk on ESPN2

You can mark this as the first of many Emoni Bates highlight posts.

The 2022 (or maybe 2021?) 5-star MSU Basketball commit and his Ypsi Prep squad are currently playing live on ESPN2 against 2021’s top player Chet Holmgren and Team Sizzle. In the first half, Bates already gave us a big highlight on a fast break dunk, a play that we will probably be seeing a lot of for years to come.

Bates is, by far, the top prospect in high school basketball right now, and would probably go No. 1 overall if he was able to enter next week’s NBA Draft. You can see why in the clip below:

Not to be outdone by Bates, Jaden Akins has also played great so far tonight for Ypsi Prep. Both players will head to Dallas on Nov. 21st to take on Lebron “Bronny” James Jr.
