In a few videos that are going viral, former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni can be seen shooting a pistol and a rifle at a gun range and then playing tennis ahead of the IPL Mega Auction 2022, to be held in Bengaluru on February 12 and 13.
In videos, doing the rounds on social media, Dhoni, who has a huge fan following across the country and particularly in Tamil Nadu due to his long association with CSK, can be seen hitting a target with a pistol and rifle and then hitting some forehand strokes and overhead smashes on a hard tennis court.
Dhoni has captained the Chennai Super Kings to IPL title wins four times and will be seen leading the side this year as well. CSK have retained four players ahead of the IPL 2022 Mega Auction - Dhoni, Ravindra Jadeja, Moeen Ali, and Ruturaj Gaikwad.
Dhoni will once again have a big role to play in the upcoming IPL player auction. He would have given his feedback and insights to the team management and coaches. He arrived in Chennai some time ago ahead of the 15th edition of the IPL and according to some reports, MSD will also be in Bengaluru at the auction venue on February 12 and 13 along with the rest of the CSK think-tank.
