NEW DELHI: Former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni cast his vote at a polling booth on Wednesday in Ranchi for Jharkhand Assembly Elections.
Dhoni and his wife Sakshi had arrived at the polling booth amidst heavy security and crowd.
The security officials had a tough time taking Dhoni and his wife Sakshi through the crowd and the media to reach the polling booth.
Dhoni and Sakshi were surrounded by screaming fans and hordes of cameramen as they slowly made their way to the polling booth.
Even as Dhoni was casting his vote, waiting cameramen and media personnel hoped for a byte from the legend who was retained by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction that is scheduled to be held in Jeddah on November 24 and 25.
