Watch moment Irish fans shock commuters on train in Japan with Gary Breen chant

This video shows the moment that unsuspecting commuters in Japan were treated to a rousing rendition of the Irish soccer chant 'A team of Gary Breens'.

The video which was taken by Galway man Mark Mulkerrins on Saturday shows a packed subway filled with ecstatic Irish fans.

Jumping up and down the green army were celebrating with a sing song after reaching the quarter finals of the rugby world cup.

Speaking to the Irish Mirror, Mark, 27  from Tuam, Co Galway said: "We've had an amazing time in Japan so far.

"The people are so friendly but I think the Japanese have been taken aback by how outgoing the Irish fans are.

"Everyone is so excited for the quarter-final and hopefully we can get over the line with a big win.

"The Irish are the best fans in the world, bar none, wherever our teams go, we support them."

Mark added: "The journey over to Japan was very long but the craic so far has made it worthwhile.

"I took the video after the Samoa game, everyone was in great form."

Ireland will now play New Zealand in a must win game to keep their hopes of winning the tournament alive.
