Watch moment Glasgow man queues at McDonald's drive-thru in toy car

Glaswegians have gone a little crazy for McDonald's after the fast food restaurant reopened a number of drive-thrus across the city earlier this week.

Dozens of venues are now serving up Big Macs and fries throughout the country once more, but strictly on a drive-thru only basis in order to respect coronavirus lockdown rules.

And those without access to a car might feel they are missing out on a Maccas - if they're unable to get a delivery.

Yesterday, radio host and Outlander actor Rory Barraclough attempted to find out whether a toy car would do the trick.

And video posted by Pure Radio shows Rory making it all the way to the speaker of the Pollokshaws branch, as queues snake all the way back to the main road, quite a sight for his fellow McDonald's customers and passers by.

The radio station is due to reveal whether Rory was successful in his bid to buy a McD's this morning!
