Watch moment ex-Kilmarnock star Tim Clancy shoves fan as his side lose league title

When he played in Scotland, Tim Clancy wasn't afraid of getting stuck into a tackle.

During a seven-year spell with four different clubs in the Premiership he was happy to get involved in anything going.

Best remembered for his time at Kilmarnock, he also played for Motherwell, Hibs and St Johnstone before heading back home to Ireland with Shamrock Rovers.

The 35-year-old currently in his first managerial post with Drogheda United and had them challenging for the League of Ireland first division title.

But defeat on the second last day means his side will instead go into the playoffs as they look to get back to the top flight after being relegated in 2017.

Drogs hosted Shelbourne at United Park on Friday night and were defeated 3-1 to end their title hopes going into the last game of the season.

Shelbourne go up as champions and their fans invaded the pitch in celebration. But hile Clancy was doing his post-match interview, supporters were jumping around him and it clearly wound him up.

He grabbed one of the young fans by the throat before shoving him away from the camera.

He can then be seen remonstrating with the youngsters.
