This is the moment BBC journalist Hugo Bachega ducks for cover after hearing a bomb go off in the background. He was delivering a news report when several explosions happened in the centre of Ukraine’s capital city.
Hugo was quickly taken off air and the show was cut back to BBC studios in London. Just over an hour later, after heading to shelter with his camera crew, the BBC re-established contact with Hugo.
