Watch Mitchie Brusco become the first skateboarder to land a 1260

Mitchie Brusco made history in the X Games on Saturday, successfully landing the first 1260 in skateboarding history in men’s Big Air on the MegaRamp.

Brusco – who has also landed a 900 in a normal vert ramp – made three and a half rotations before landing cleanly, and earned a score of 89.66.

Despite landing the historic trick, Brusco had to settle for silver. Elliot Sloan took the gold with a score of 91.66 in his fifth and final run, with an Indy 720 over the gap into a tailgrab 900.
