WATCH: Mitchell Trubisky throws third TD vs. Lions

The Chicago Bears offense has awakened from a season-long slumber against the Detroit Lions.

After putting together back-to-back scoring drives — the first a Mitchell Trubisky to Ben Braunecker and the second a Trubisky to Tarik Cohen connection — Chicago’s offense put together its third consecutive scoring drive.

Trubisky found receiver Taylor Gabriel for a 24-yard touchdown to give the Bears a 20-6 lead with 9:38 left in the third quarter.

It was Trubisky’s third touchdown pass of the game.

The Bears’ touchdown was set-up by linebacker Nick Kwiatkoski’s interception of Lions quarterback Jeff Driskel.

The Bears lead 20-6 with four minutes left in the third quarter.
