WATCH: Mitchell Trubisky finds Ben Braunecker for Bears’ first TD vs. Lions

Things started like they usually do for the Chicago Bears offense: Ugly.

But after nearly 25 minutes of mediocrity, the Bears finally managed to put a drive together in the closing minutes of the first half.

Chicago mounted a 10-play, 80-yard drive that resulted in a Mitchell Trubisky to Ben Braunecker 18-yard touchdown, which gave the Bears their first lead of the game in the closing seconds of the half.

The Bears’ lone score of the first half was Braunecker’s first career touchdown.

Trubisky has completed 10-of-14 passes for 81 yards and a touchdown for a 109.5 passer rating in the first half.

Chicago leads Detroit 7-6 at halftime.
