The Chicago Bears offense has finally come alive against one of the worst defenses in the NFL.
After scoring a touchdown on their final drive of the first half — an 18-yard touchdown from Mitchell Trubisky to tight end Ben Braunecker — the Bears offense struck again on their opening possession of the second half.
Chicago marched 76 yards down the field in five plays, which resulted in a Trubisky to Tarik Cohen for a 9-yard touchdown.
The Trubisky-to-Cohen connection gave the Bears a 13-6 lead with 12:25 left in the third quarter.
This is now back-to-back weeks where the Bears have scored a touchdown on their opening drive of the second half.
