There’s no stopping the Mitch Trubisky to Taylor Gabriel connection. Words that Chicago Bears fans have been dying to hear for an offense that has failed to find a rhythm this season.
Trubisky found Gabriel for a third score in the second quarter of Monday night’s game against the Redskins for a beauty of a 36-yard touchdown.
The catch was so impressive that it was initially ruled out-of-bounds. But after further review, Gabriel had both feet in bounds and possession of the ball to score his third touchdown of the quarter, the game and the season.
The Bears lead 28-3 at halftime.
